LurkAPI is a REST API and MCP server for public social media data. Send one GET request and get clean JSON from 16 platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, X, LinkedIn and Facebook: profiles, posts, comments, video transcripts and the ads in Meta's, Google's, TikTok's and LinkedIn's ad libraries. Add https://api.lurkapi.com/mcp to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code, sign in in the browser, and ask for a brand's current ads or a creator's latest videos in plain English. Every endpoint is a tool, and results are trimmed to save tokens. Developers call the same 88 endpoints with one API key, with code samples in six languages and an OpenAPI spec. Pricing: freemium, pay as you go. Most calls cost 1 credit. New accounts get 100 free credits with no card and a daily top-up to 25; packs start at $9 for 10,000 credits, which never expire.
